Offline Festival is quickly taking shape into an inspiring patchwork of incredible speakers, business skill building sessions and hands on workshops. We are humbled to have so many fantastic people, community businesses and innovators joining us!
With that in mind, the time has come to release a BIG and exciting teaser of what we have in store for you lucky festival goers – we are unbelievably excited to confirm that the social change leaders at The Eden Project will be joining the Offline family!
The Eden Project Communities Allotment will host three branding and storytelling workshopsto support businesses to connect with customers and attract funders or volunteers.
The first workshop will guide you and your community business how to find your story. We’ve all got a story, so what’s yours? A compelling story can inspire others to join you – whether they are customers, funders, or volunteers – so it’s important to understand what you want to say, and how to say it.
Once you’ve found your story, its time to bring it to life! Join the second workshop to learn handy tips and tricks on how to tell your story; find out how to engage your audience with your clear and concise message. As the sun goes down, huddle up around the camp fire for a chance to practice telling your story among new friends who are also learning to share theirs.
Learn how to share your story. The third workshop will be a crash course in film-making. Videos are predicted to make up 75% of online content by the end of this year. They are a great opportunity to get your story out there to the people you want to reach, but you need your video to stand out from the crowd. Pick up useful skills, including a chance to practice filming interviews both in front of and behind the camera – it’s not as scary as it sounds!
Keep the buzz alive and head to the Communities Allotment yurt for The Big Lunch and join your fellow festival-goers for a community lunch. Enjoy this opportunity to dig in to some delicious food and connect with new like-minded people, swap tales of your weekend and engage in inspiring conversations.
We look forward to getting inspired alongside you, hearing your stories and making memories at The Eden Project’s Communities Allotment at Offline Festival.
